When will it ends, it's getting quite annoying, and why is it here all of a sudden? Are anet tweaking the servers or what?

Nope, think everyone is suffering. Not used to lag anymore, so I think for once I'll go outside, make sure I get a good tan so I can stay inside during summer...

Going to check the lag, brb. On 5x nVidia card though I mostly suffer in the first place though unless at low graphics lol. But "bad" graphics don't bother me that much.

Was playing last night, nothing horrible here, a few period where I bumped up to 500 but mostly below 100-200.

It would be advisable to either get PingPlotter or a similar utility and try to determine the origin of your lag (it might be your ISP or somewhere inbetween you and the GW servers) if you know how to work it out, or possibly contact support who may walk you through the process.

160k ping is over 2 and a half minutes of no data flowing, one way or the other. Last time I saw a ping that big was when my ISP's main router died.

Normally, I hardly ever lag, have a very good connection (thank you uber pc and Holland network providers)
But yesterday I got spikes up to 50k, and since everyone in my ally seemed to have them, I guess it had something to do with the Anet servers. (probably testing capacity, uploading data for an update that is about to come or... something)

Everyone thinks Lag is Anet's fault. If that is the case, submit a ticket to support. You will get an automated reply, then an email from a technician. Work with them politely and follow their simple to understand directions.

They helped me get back into the game I had not been able to play for nearly a month.

Lag is the gift that just keeps on taking.

2 UWsc's in a row have been hosed by lag.
